Onitama: Way of the Wind (Expansion)

Ontiama, Way of the Wind, is an expansion for Onitama, the elegant and simple game of martial arts. In this expansion, you will find the Wind Spirit, a neutral game piece, that will create a new layer of interaction in the game. Included are 10 unique, new, cards, and 1 Wind Spirit Miniature. Onitama, Way of the Wind requires the Onitama base game to play.

Onitama: Way of the Wind introduces a new neutral piece that can be moved by both players! The wind spirit is an impassable object, neither students nor masters may move into a space occupied by it. Also, if the wind spirit lands on a student pawn, it does not capture it, instead, it swaps places with the student!

This new layer of complexity, along with the wind spirit cards that allow you to move your master or student pawn according to the grid on the top of the card, then move the wind spirit according to the bottom grid, is sure to test your wits and prove definitively which master’s Art is superior.
